You know, that 'other dimensions' thing has always been hard to believe. As long as I've been here, I've never seen anyone who looked like they were from another planet.

[Not that he thinks about it that much, but it's possible he's bored enough to strike up a conversation.]

And it sounds like some of you are from places that are similar to Gaia. They have the same kind of monsters, anyway. So how do you account for that?

Can't tell me all of that's a coincidence.

[There's some strange squawking in the distance followed by a slamming door, which he's going to refuse to comment on.]

[The line opens to far off screaming and the sound of people running in the background. Away from the line, he shouts, "Hold on, I can't hear anything."]

What the hell was that? Did any of you get a look at it?

[Muttering, "Goddammit, that was a nice suit."]

[Explosions can be heard some distance from the mic, along with disturbing screeching and howling closer by. Reno sounds like he's still moving and his voice goes in and out.]

Rude? That wasn't you, right?

Check in. Where -- Elena, are you still in front--? I--

[Muttered cursing, because dammit if he'd forget to filter it. Some time passes and his voice gets clearer.]

I think I'm passed them. Just find somewhere to take cover until it settles down.

[Breathing heavily and talking like he left the speaker on accidentally.]

OOC - Re: Log. In an attempt to seal off the spot that the monsters came from, the Turks set some homemade explosives around the sewers/near the buildings in the southern residential district. Explosions happened/monsters got riled up. Yadda yadda it's a big mess down there now.

I don't know how many of you are going along with this, but I'm not really into self sacrifice. Or maybe I'm getting used to this place trying to kill me. I could think of some better ways to spend however long we have left than whatever they're trying to put us through.

If the world is really ending, how about one of you give us some directions on how to get out? It seems like this would be a good time to fill us in on the escape plan.
